I've recently got a fantastic tool, which is ideal for any RPGer, be it as a GM or as a Lone Wolf. I'm talking about Flying Buffalo Dice.
They're a set of six-sided goodies that bring numerous possibilities to your table. You can buy them online at FlyingBuffalo.com, and yes: they do ship internationally!
Let's start with the Adventure Dice Set.
OK, so there's a total of 7 dice for this set. You'll find: a hit location die, a treasure die, a corridor die, a reaction die, a weather die, a traps die, and a door die. From the names alone, you could say their use is evident.
Here you have a visual guide of all of their icons (i.e. I took this info from the Dicey Business PDF available at DriveThruRPG)
Pretty neat, aren't they? Well, the idea is for them to give you inspiration while you plan your upcoming adventure/dungeon crawl... Or, to help you find quick answers on the spot if you're already adventuring!
Do you want to know if the treasure chest you've just found is safe? Roll the door die! Is the NPC you've encountered friendly? Maybe? Maybe not? What the heck! Roll the reaction die!
Besides these 7 dice, there's the other one: Grimtooth's Die! (More info on Grimtooth here).
This one works in tandem with the door and traps dice (although, it could work in many other ways depending on how you use it), and gives you the lethality of a trap (or the lethality of something in general) in a scale from 1 to DEAD!
As you can see, these dice are all easy to use, and may add a bit of extra flavor to your game. Specially if you're soloing, and you'd like to receive the type of feedback a GM normally offers.
I really like them, and I totally recommend getting them along with the Dicey Business PDF. I mean, they're of good quality and they all come at an unbeatable price. Also, as a tool, they add lots of possibilities to your games, so why not give them a try?
Of course, in case you can't (or won't) get them, I suggest you have a look at Part 2 ;)

There are two specific options (pictured above) which I definitely recommend: Grimtooth's Dice! (that despite the name, it is actually 1 die), and the Adventure Dice Set.Let's start with the Adventure Dice Set.
